Fall Round up 2012

Fall Round up 2012 We started our 2012/II season with an EUROPEAN GIRLS ROUND UP! Kim, Annette, Sara, Jenni, Sandra and Sarah spent a great time and helped us to move the cattle from the dry side to the river pastures. Kim already sent us her travel story!

We had a great year 2011 and hope to see our guests agin in the new year...

The Spring round up was booked out pretty fast. Right now we have still 1 room left for the Fall round up (Sept. 23 - Oct. 8, 2012). So, hurry, when you are interested!

For people which want to do cattle work, there is still space (March 1 - 22 and April 10 - 30, 2012).

We just got a great vacation review from Kim and as soon as her picture cd arrives we'll update the web pages. So, please come back and have a look at the guest pages.

Fall Round up 2011

Howdy...

We finished our Fall round up and we have to say we had a really good crew! Helmut was the first who sent us a travel story and pictures. Thanxx a lot!

The Spring round up in 2012 is booked out. But we still have space for the cattle work weeks March 1 - 23 and April 8 - 30, 2012.

We are ready for the new season...

It's still very hot over here and the new season starts slow... but just until round up time, which is almost booked out. 
All we have left is one room Sept. 23 - 30, 2011.

Round up time became very popular, so even the Spring round up is almost booked out. Right now we have 1 room available for April 2 - 9, 2012.

We want to thank last season's guests for visiting us --- and thanxx a lot for the great pictures and travel stories, some of the guests sent us. We hopte to see you again...

And we hope the guests, which booked this season, will have as much fun as the old guests had... :-)

Round up 2011

The Life at the Williams Family Ranch became very busy. We have great guests for the round up weeks and for one day also a big lunch group. This week we have gathered about 1/3 of the cattle. Our guests seem to be very happy. They branded calves, now they are looking for more cattle. ~ ~ ~ This week we had a great surprise. When we had cattle in the corrals for branding, a calf got born.

Carrol: It was great to get to the corral. Didn't want to come back and cook.:-/

Steffi: I know for sure I rather would work at the corrals than cook...
Carrol: Thanks for all you do. You help me keep from going nuts. :-))
Steffi: well, I bet they would let me work at the corrals, because of my cooking... :-)

Our Spring Round up 2011 is almost booked out.

There is just 1 room left for the week March 31 till April 7.

But there are still some places for the Fall Round up, Sept. 23 -  October 8...

A Cowboy Singer needed a Horse...

...

We lost Pete's horse Ginger July 18th, 2010.


She was bitten by a rattle snake.

The Arizona desert is rough country.


Now Ginger is home with Pete.


 
 

God needed a Cowboy Singer...

Left us on May 19, 2010...


So our dear friend, Peter Ladd Joachim,
better known as Pete,
to all the friends that have met him
at the Williams Family Ranch,
went to heaven.

We all will miss him and his voice and kind ways.
We will miss seeing him drive into the ranch in his red truck,
pulling the trailer with his mare Ginger in it.


We will miss the evening songs
around living room or campfire.

Pete and Roy were friends for over 50 years.
We will miss Pete!!!

We just start the season 2010/2011....
